Newsweek Names ICON Co-Founder and CEO to America's Greatest Disruptor List

NEWSWEEK’S AMERICA’S GREATEST DISRUPTORS.

We are delighted to share that ICON's Jason Ballard is among the 50 luminaries and leaders who are included in Newsweek’s inaugural list of America’s Greatest Disruptors. The list features visionaries, innovators, pioneers and change makers who are using technology to transform business, health, culture and society for the greater good.

The inclusion was based on nominations solicited from more than 100 experts, along with extensive research by the Newsweek staff. The cover story, which takes up the entire December 24 issue of Newsweek and features four different covers, hit newsstands December 17.

Ballard has dedicated his life to working on big problems in service to humanity. Prior to co-founding ICON, the construction technologies company shifting the paradigm of homebuilding with 3D printing technology, Ballard served as CEO of an eco-friendly home upgrade company that normalized sustainable and healthy approaches to home improvement. Before becoming an entrepreneur, Ballard worked at a homeless shelter, in various roles in sustainable building, and as an environmental consultant for ACRT.
