Would you like your home designs featured in ICON's CODEX?
If you are an architect interested in having your designs featured in ICON's digital home design catalog of read-to-print homes, we encourage you to fill our this form for consideration. We will routinely review submissions for inclusion in CODEX and new collections will be added regularly.
To be considered, please complete the below Google form. The form will request the following:
Firm or practice name, website, and a link to an online architectural portfolio of relevant residential, commercial, or environmental design.
Project Description: Provide a design narrative describing your decision making as well as salient elements of the design. The Project Description may be no more than 3,000 characters. The format for the document is required as 8.5” by 11”, portrait orientation, and PDF format only.
Design Presentation: Presentations may be no more than six (6) slides. Each slide format is required to be 16:9 aspect ratio, at 1920x1080 resolution. PDF format only. Suggested content includes, but should not be limited to, floor plans of home designs, Interior and exterior renderings of homes, and details of the designs.
3D Model: We ask that you submit a digital 3D model used to create assets for the submission. The 3D model will be kept as record and proof of design, and may be used for evaluating constructibility. 3D models must be uploaded in Rhino (.3dm), Revit (.rvt), CAD (.dwg) or SketchUp (.skp) formats.
If selected, an ICON team member will reach out to schedule an interview and initiate further discussions for refinement of the design and subsequent consideration for inclusion in CODEX.
A fixed fee will be awarded to the firm or submitter of each design chosen for inclusion in CODEX. Fixed fees will be determined on a sliding scale, according to the size, typology, and parameters of the project submission.
ICON will provide a royalty payment to architects with home designs in CODEX each time a home design is constructed. The fee will be a predetermined percentage of construction cost.
